Which means it’s time to start thinking ahead to cards and gifts! I’m so excited for the holiday portrait season this year, because with my new pricing and session options all Blessings clients will have the image files from their sessions which they can use in their own photo cards, and print portraits and gifts for everyone on their list! (Visit this page if you need a reminder on those new session options!)
I know many of you are waiting for my annual Holiday Mini Sessions. This year I don’t have a specific Holiday package since the image files are now always included. But I do have the $50 mini sessions (details on the pricing page here)!
October mini session dates are Monday the 17th and Saturday the 29th.
For November, the dates are Saturday the 19th and Tuesday the 22nd.
Standard sessions are also being scheduled for October, November, and December right now. My availability calendar for the remainder of 2011 can be found here.
Wondering where to go to get those photos turned into some fabulous cards? I highly reccommend Tiny Prints! They have over 1,000 options for Christmas photo cards. Everything from simple slimline cards with a single photo, to elaborate trifold cards with lots of space to show off those pictures. The ordering process couldn’t be simpler, you just upload your photos and add your greeting. And the pricing can’t be beat either! I know, this sounds like a commercial for them… But that’s because I’m so excited that my customers will have the option to use their photos in all those amazing cards this year!

Monday, September 12th, 2011You may notice things look a bit different around here! Welcome to the new website/blog home of Blessings Photography.
This is all part of my plan to simplify. To put it lightly, life has been crazy around here for the past couple months! Among all the other daily tasks that come with having 4 young kids at home, I am now running 3 businesses (I’ll share more info on the others soon!). So instead of having both a separate website and blog to keep up, I decided to combine them into one. You’ll find all the information you need by clicking on the menu links above.
One thing you should really check out is the new pricing! I am so excited to be offering digital images files with all my sessions from now on. I’ve found that requests for image files have been steadily increasing over the past few years, and now that’s really what everybody wants. When you get the files, you get to print and share them as you wish. You get to save them and pull them out years down the road to be used in your child’s graduation or wedding slideshows. You get to use them to make your own products and gifts- things like photo books and canvases and cards! Along with your files, you will be provided with an image release document as well as printing guides and recommendations. For the best quality, it’s important to print images at a reputable lab.
I am currently scheduling for the remainder of September and beyond. Now is a great time to book your photo session to get images for holiday cards and gifts! The September dates for Mini Sessions are Saturday the 17th and Monday the 26th.
Also just wanted to say Thank You to all my wonderful clients for an amazing 8 years! Last month marked the beginning of my 9th year in business, and I feel so very blessed to be where I am today and doing a job that I love so much!!
